The "Pink Lady," originally built in 1912 and immortalized as the "Hotel California" by the Eagles, underwent a two-and-a-half-year, multi-million dollar renovation in 1995. The hotel re-opened swankier, bigger, and with more attitude than ever. This legendary hotel remains a magnet for Hollywood's elite and rising stars. One of only 14 hotels nationwide, it has received the Five Star award for five consecutive years. Are you a tennis fan? Try your backhand here on Alex Olmedo- head pro and champion from Wimbledon. The Beverly Hills Hotel provides one of the perfect experiences, that we will always enjoy returning to. The service and the physical aspects of the hotel are absolutely top notch and well worth the price.
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThis is such a great hotel- not just because of the great accomodations and service, but the style and decor of the hotel makes it something really special. The hotel is very glamorous in true Beverly Hills style. There are many other great hotels in Beverly Hills. I had great experiances at the Regent Beverly Wilshire, and the Peninsula- but none capture what the Beverly hills Hotel has. The pool and Polo Lounge has the other two beat hands down.
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThis place is awesome, every little detail is attended to with the utmost precision and service. I just can't understand some of the neg. reviews I have read on other websites about this place. The ambience is one of sheer decadence and the staff is NOT snobby and only too happy to help with any request. I had a bit of a fem. accident at 2 in the morning, and the front desk was only too eager to go the extra mile and accomodate my needs. I have been coming to this hotel for nearly eleven years and consider it a treat every time. The rooms are very spacious and poshly appointed, the bathrooms are pure decadence, huge marble affairs with a nice soaking tub and elegants touches. The chocolates on the pillow every night before turn down is a marvelous touch and pure class. The BHH is the best hotel, in a long line of top notch establishments that I have stayed at in the world, it's one of my top two anyway. The gardens are very romantic and well tended just like the interior and public areas. I recommend capping off your night at the renowned Polo Grill, Whaleed, the wonderful maître d' will be more than happy to make you happy, he, like the hotel is a true gem!
